Frequently Asked Questions about the
Football Program:
- Q: Can I help volunteer and if so, how?
- a. We have a variety of roles you can help out with:
- team parent,
- concession,
- weight master,
- cheer coach/assistant coach,
- football coach/assistant coach,
- equipment manager,
- videographer,
- gameday field maintenance,
- fundraising
- and more.

- Q: When can I sign up my child
- a. You can sign up anytime, visit the registration page. You can
also provide payment for signing up at the payments page
- Q: How old
does my child have to be to play/cheer?
- a. Your child must be between age 6 and age 13 as of May 31, 2010.
Exceptions may be made with cheerleading (email
cheercoordinator@paxtonathletics.org) however there are no
exceptions with football
- Q: Do you
have to pay all at once?
- Q: Where do
you practice/play games?
- a. We practice behind Central Dauphin East Middle School off of
Rutherford Road. We have 4 home games and 4 road games. The schedule is
coming soon.

- Q: Do you
have JV football teams if my child isn’t ready for varsity?
- a. Yes we do have JV teams if we have enough players on the varsity
levels.
- Q: Do I
have to buy any equipment for football?
- a. All you have to purchase are cleats and athletic supporter
with cup. The rest of the items are provided for you
- Q: Do I
have to buy any equipment for cheerleading?
- Q: What
league are you in?
- a. We are in the Keystone Midget Football Conference (KMFC)
- Q: How long
is the season?
- a. The football season runs from practice starting in late July to
the super bowl being in early November
- b. The cheerleading season runs from tryouts in mid June to the
super bowl being in early November
- c. What is the cost?
- $85 for the first child, $65 for the second child. Families with
3 or more children pay $205. You can sign up football players and
cheerleaders together and these same costs apply.
- d. Can I refer friends to sign their kids up for Paxton?
