Free 2012 Paxton Panther Football Mini Camps

Paxton Athletic Association 2012 Skill Building Minicamps will be held July 24-26 from 6-8 PM.  We are pleased to be able to put on these youth football camps focusing on the techniques and fundamentals needed to succeed at the youth level.  These sessions will help players prepare for the 2012 football season while learning the game of football.

Please note that a Paxton Football Waiver must be completed and presented prior to participation in a MiniCamp.  Please see below to complete the registration and waiver online.

2012 Paxton Skill Building Minicamp Schedule:  

  • July 24-25-26, 6-8 PM

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM THE CAMPS?

  • Skills Taught

    • Timing and Reaction

    • Running and Quickness

    • Proper Tackling Form

    • Ball Handling

    • Passing and Catching

    • Strength and conditioning

    • Special Teams

    • Defensive Pursuit

    • and MUCH MORE!!!!

  • All players will learn techniques from every position

  • Individual and Group instruction on both offensive and defensive fundamentals

  • Parents are welcome to sit, watch & listen each day but must remain off the field

  • Parents will have the chance to interact with their child’s coach at the beginning or the end of each session of camp

LOCATION

Behind Central Dauphin East Middle School—628 Rutherford Road Harrisburg, PA.

FEES

Paxton Skill Building Minicamps - $45.00 for 3 nights after July 14.  Checks can be made payable to "Paxton athletic Assoc".

Additional Donations are being accepted to help cover the costs of our football program.

CAMP ELIGIBILITY
All current and potential Paxton football players (boys and girls) who are ages 6-13 as of April 30, 2012 are eligible to attend the Paxton Skill Building Minicamps.

DRESS CODE
A camper will need to come dressed in shorts, t-shirt, and football cleats or athletic sneakers.  Baseball or Soccer cleats can be used at the camp, however metal cleats are not allowed.

This is a non-contact camp, so no additional equipment is needed.

OTHER ITEMS NEEDED

Players may bring their own water or sports drink.  We will have access to water for the players.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Campers will need to be dropped off approx. 15 min early to get ready for warm-ups.

Dismissal is 8:00pm sharp, please be on time to pick-up your child

WAIVER

The Paxton Athletic Association coaches, staff and organizers are hereby released from any and all responsibility and liability for any claim for damages which the said player may have by reason of any mishap, accident, or injury received by the said player in conjunction with the activities related to the Paxton Athletic Association activities.

We hereby waive any claims or cause of action against the coaches, staff and organizers, which may arise by participating with the Paxton Athletic Association. We also agree to hold harmless and indemnity the coaches, staff and organizers from any and all actions, cause of action, claims liabilities, costs and expenses, including attorney fees, on account of, or in any way growing out of injuries sustained by our child because of such participation, excepting those which may arise as the sole result of negligence on the part of the Paxton Athletic Association coaches, staff and organizers.
