Paxton Panther football and cheerleading needs you! We are only as strong as our volunteers and we need YOU to
help us get stronger and Concession- Help us run the concession stand during practices and games. Everyone likes to eat and drink during after practices and games. We want to be able to keep the concession stand open as much as possible so players, cheerleaders, parents and guests can have refreshment; however, we need YOU to help us keep it open all through the season. You can work a practice, part of a game day or a full game day, we can work with you. Also if you’d like to have new ideas for food/drink items, we’d love to hear them. Equipment managers- Help us organize, order, distribute and return equipment. As we’ve grown the amount of equipment needed has grown. We want to have all the equipment our players need at all levels to excel on the field. We need YOU to help us manage proper levels of equipment as well as identifying new equipment needs. This will include game/practice equipment. Once a process is created with your help this task can be relatively easy. Fundraiser- Help us gather ideas and execute strategies to generate funds to assist our football/cheerleading program. Our organization wants to continue improving to remain a proud and well supported youth football and cheerleading organization helping the kids of Harrisburg. We have plans on improving our clubhouse, getting new jersey’s as well as new equipment for our athletes. We need to find creative ways to generate funds and get the community involved to support their kids. We need YOU to bring your expertise, connections and fresh ideas to lead us in working with organizations and individuals to develop these partnerships. This will also involve ways to market our organization and getting our community involved at a higher level. Videographer- Help us tape games for coaches to review and for highlight films. Do you have a video camera? Do you have an interest in filming football and putting together highlight tapes using creativity. We need YOU to bring your creativity while providing coaches with a valuable tool, game video. This role will only involve gameday taping as well as some taping of opponents games throughout the year. The more videographers we have, the more the duties can be shared. Gameday assistants- Help us with game day set up and tear down. Game day is what we work toward. Making gameday go smoothly is the goal and we need YOU to help us with gameday set up and tear down. This task will only take 90 minutes before and after our 5 home games in 2011. This can also include weighmaster (weighing the kids in), 50/50 and gatekeeping (watching who enters/leaves the facility). The more assistants we can have helping, the more we can divide the jobs up freeing a lot of free time for the assistants.
